Mattie and I recently competed in the Sugar Arts Show. I entered the Special Techniques Not on a Cake and Mattie entered th 5-7 year old category. Here are some pictures of this along with the oil derrick that was made for Sara and Joe's wedding.

For Spring Break, we went to Breckenridge, CO with Brian's family. We had a great trip! Mattie skied for 3 days and was a 'rock star'! Connor had a blast playing with all the kids, he wasn't much for being out in the snow and was done with sledding after one run.

For New Years, we went to Angel Fire, New Mexico to enjoy some relaxation and skiing. It was great skiing - it snowed about 6' the night before we arrived and 8-10' the day after we arrived. It was VERY cold though - the first morning we were there it was 1.8 degrees... We all had a good time though!
