Mattie had a great time on our trip to Branson this fall. She was finally tall enough to ride the roller coasters at Silver Dollar City. She rode Thunderation (deemed her favorite) a million times and PowderKeg twice (deemed momma's favorite).

Mattie enjoyed her first season of soccer. She always had a good time and learned a lot - she plans to play again in the spring.

|
We went to the Tulsa State Fair in October. Mattie, as always, had a great time riding all the rides she could and eating as much junk food as possible (yummy!)

|
|
|
Mattie was a beautiful flower girl for Sara and Joe's wedding. She was so excited to have such an important job.

|
|
|
|
Mattie has started soccer this fall. So far she really likes it, but it's hard to teach someone in martial arts how to properly kick a soccer ball (sorry daddy!)... despite the rain, they had a great first game this weekend.

|
Mattie loves to be in the kitchen. She especially likes to help with cake decorating and playing with gumpaste. I've been working with her on making flowers - she does really well!

Where did the summer go? Here's some pictures from Mattie's summer. She had a great time swimming and playing outside.

If you know Mattie, you know that she loves everything reptile-ish... anything to do with bugs, snakes, dinosaurs... on a recent trip to Mema's they found a turtle that she named Snap. Mema found a shoe box that Mattie put Snap in for the afternoon before letting him loose again - she really wanted to keep him though!

The kids had a blast at the zoo today... we went in to the bird exhibit and they both got to have close contact with them!

|
Mattie loves to swing and Pop put in the best tree swing in their back yard, so Mattie loves to play back there. She can get going almost as high as the house!

We went to the lake for Uncle B and Mema's birthday again this year. The weather was a little cool, but the scenery was very beautiful. These pictures are by the dam where they were letting water out.

We went to the zoo for the first time this year in April. The kids were so excited to go!

|
|
Mattie turned 6 on April 7th.... She had her birthday party on Saturday with her friends - it was a great weekend and all the kids had a great time!
